Awesome! Wish we had super uber small snesses.
btw. I don't think this thing is actually 100 percent pal compatible. Starwing won't work i'm sure. Also not sure on the ntsc compatibility. Games that use internal lockout like super mario rpg prob won't work since this unit prob lacks a lockout. (but a little mod should fix that.)

The FC Twin actually has a spot on the board behind the second controller port for a CIC chip. You can see it in the bottom left of this pic: http://files.myopera.com/grahf/albums/1 ... single.jpg
Looks like it needs the D411 and a cap. Maybe one of you pal guys can try it.

Mario RPG? That's the first game I tried with my FC Twin. At first it didn't work. Then it worked but all of my savefiles where gone (nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo). Then I tried it again and it didn't work for like ten times. So I tried it on my normal NTSC snes. It worked. I then tried it again on my FC Twin and it worked. Reset, didn't work...jeroen wrote:that's a spot for a nes cic if you ask me. And that wouldn't make a europe game compatible. With the lockout cart thing I was talkiing bout ntsc games like mario rpg witch won't work without a intact snes lockout. (altough a little mod can fix that)
I don't know what is up whit that game but it looks like the hardware isn't fully SA-1 compatible.
And you are right about the PAL games. Most games work like Super Mario World, Zelda ALttP and even Secret of Evermore. But some games tottaly don't (like Super Metroid).
And there's even a different case in which the game works but appears with glitches. Like in Super Mario Kart I get graphic glitches on the character select screen but only with Yoshi and Toad(very weird...). And the map is also a little glitchy on the in-game screen.
Another thing is the sound. I've noticed that in some games like Super Star Wars the sound is way noisier then on a normal PAL snes. Maybe a flaw in the audio chip or something.
Anyway, this device is not 100% compatible. That's for sure.
