is 1.6 dod source? If it is then no it couldn't have been me.

I play CS 1.6 sometimes. Go under Capt. Elmer Leadblade. I usually play BF42 FH mod tho....that game is much better

I got this error before. I'm not shure what it's from, but all I do to fix it is grab the file out of my working copy of steam and copy it to the new steam folder. For some reason I've been seeing that problem a few times this month with people who had just downloaded steam. So see if you can find somebody who has the file and place it in the main STEAM folder.

1.6 and Source are different (1.6 is older). I saw a Steve-o on 1.6.

Bumped up for the reason of:

Steam: installs, trys to run, can't find dll.

I Downloaded the dll, it asks for another SteamUI.dll I download it, put it in same place as Steam.dll(main folder) and it asks for it again....

Try uninstalling steam, and then find the "Steam" folder in C:\program files and delete it. Then try reinstalling it.
