Another noooooobie question for you guys...
I have a radica that i believe is pal (seeing as i bought it in the UK and it has UK helpline numbers on it - although i bought it second hand so it came without packaging!) and i have an intec ps2 screen - when i play the ps2 on the screen the output from the ps2 is displayed centralised (ie. OK) when i use the radica (just plugged in via the standard cables as you would to a TV) with the intec the image is displayed incorrectly, it has an extra black border at the top and chops off some of the image at the bottom of the screen.
I was wondering if it was to do with the radica being UK/PAL and the screen designed for NTSC? or something simpler? more difficult? unchangeable?
Is there a way to change the region setting of the radica? or does anyone have any other ideas?
Cheers in advance guys...

I think if it was because of a PAL signal, it would be all black and white, with the screen all wavy(course that might be cuz of my old tv with pal signals). What it might be is the resolution that PAL genesis games run at is different, and that the intec screen is having trouble supporting that resolution.
That's my guess anyway.

DOH! thinking about it, it would only let me use games from different regions but it would not change the video output/signal would it.
I just had some idea in my head from yesteryear - some memory of borders in games from different countries or something, back wen the megadrive at the SNES were the best you could get.
Oh and in your signature, have you misspelt portable - protable?
