Who would like a GCp how-to?

Post by Gamelver »

Well, I thought I might as well make a poll on it......anyway, if enough people want one, then by golly I'll write one :)!!!!!!!!!!
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

If you did that would be great. If it's too much work for ya, that's fine too.

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.

you don't want to see me making an incredibly long chant... you learned that the hard way (though it was still fun :) )

Guess we were thinking the same thing as in the thread that went along the amazing tale of how you built it I posted asking if when you were done with the thing and maybe playing a game you could write a simple Howto or a story howto like Ben does.

Though I would enjoy a Gamecube guide like one of Ben's, I would be extremely happy if you made a full how-to guide.

But that would be pretty time consuming, considering you are wrapped up with mid-terms. Maybe during a midwinter break you could attempt it. Anything you could give us would be appreciated.

I would've liked one like Ben's to help me out......but instead, I had to figure everything out for myself  !!!!!!!! oh well, at least now it's pretty much finished :).
hmmmmmmm looks like a lot of people are in favor of a guide :). I'll let this poll go on and create a new one on what kind of guide to build :).......and don't feel bad if you choose the "full how-to guide" option 'cause I want to write a GCp guide, I'm just not sure which one would be more helpful to most people :)........

I think I know how to do everything except how to split the controller in half, if you could put some info on that it would be great!

yeah, I'm definitely gonna put that in there :)....after all, I wouldn't want anyone suffering on the GC controllers like I did ;)..............anyway, expect a pinout for the GC controller chip and also the best ways to solder to the board :).
