Huh! I sense a conspiracy!!! Hide the rum!

Anyway... On a less crazy note, good luck. But don't try running your n64 off 10 car batteries linked in series. It will make a nastly smell, and a cool blue fire!

Just recieved my 2 PTH08000 samples in the mail today from TI! :D They were FREE! I like that price. Also dug out the 2k Ohm resistor (w/ a less than %1 margin of error on it too!) and the capacitor. Its a bit higher rated than I need (Still 10050uF, but rated at 50 volts) but it doesn't take up much more space, and that will prevent overheating problems.

Any comments? My other stuff will slowly trickle in...and I haven't made any plans for the case! :P

My suggestion is to make the case first. This is just from personal experience. For my PSp I figured that once I wired everything, the case would be a breeze. Little did I know that that was the hard part.

But thats just me. I find wiring the unit to be the easiest, but others may find just the opposite.

Thats my two cents...hope it helps. And good luck on your portable!

Well you would want to make the case last because if you do it first, then the electronics, and it comes out to be too big, then your screwed, and if you happen to make it smaller than what you thought, your screwed. Deffinitly build the case last unless you know exactly what your doing.

well if you dont mind the weight of 6 9000 mah C batteries then id go with those cause your N64 would last for about 10 hours or something like that

I just realized something - how can I charge the D cells w/o taking them out of the portable? There has to be a way - anyone know?
