Moderator: Moderators
Well, the TRU was closed so me and my dad went to a nearby futureshop. (Same store as bestbuy.) Well, I had enough money for one so guess what... I got myself a DS. Its awesome. Also, this means that Im not going to get a psone screen. Bah! It dosnt matter, the DS is very cool. (Now dont go flaming about the PSP, K?)

Thats begining to make me nervous, if Sony doesnt release something like a screen for the PS2 slim we could run into trouble down the line. I do hope someone at Sony is reading this we need them to produce more PSOne screen or make one for the PS2.Unidentified Assilant wrote:One of the shops in my town has tons of PSone screens behind the counter, and they're all priced £30, when I asked them why they were so cheap, they told me they wanted to get rid of them.

Sparkfist:
Sony already announced that it has ceased production of PSone screens. Combine that with the imminent worldwide release of the PSP and I would be very surprised to see an official PStwo screen. Bottom line is if you want a PSone screen, get 'em now before they're gone.
I'm not saying however, that Sony didn't leave the possibility of a PStwo LCD screen. There are two screw holes on the back of the PStwo that are obviously there for adding peripherals such as an LCD screen. Incidentally, those screw holes are identical in size to the ones on the PSone. I can confirm this because I have used PSone LCD screws in the PStwo holes.
Here's an opportunity for a third party to attach a thin 7 or 8 inch widescreen LCD via component connection directly to the PStwo. This size LCD is common due to all the portable DVD players on the market. Give it some time. Hopefully someone could deliver a third party LCD with first-party quality.
Sharp Aquos LCD attachment for PStwo... Hey, I can dream can't I?

screens available in North Olmstead, OH
TRU @ North Olmstead has 7 @ $22.98. I just picked up 4 of them! I can't wait to hack into something! BTW, they are the actual Sony ones. They aren't behind a case or anything. If you're in the area, get 'em while you can!
Just thought I'd try to help out!

Here's a tip that helps me win ebay auctions:nevets934 wrote:everytime i get out bid on ebay.
When you see an item you want, don't bid on it! Instead, look at what time the auction ends, and come back around 5 minutes before it is over. Log into ebay if you haven't already. Then when there's only 1 or 2 minutes left (or less) hurry and place your bid. If its high enough, you will be the highest bidder and there won't be any time for anyone to outbid you.
I almost always win auctions this way. In fact I recently used this technique to get Adobe After Effects 6.5 Pro for $400, which isn't too bad, considering its worth $1000.

Yeah and Ben calles them vultures. I just wait until the last 10 minutes and at about 5 left and put in my max bid, I had to learn that sadly.
