My NOAC is a lot different from everyone elses. Its main ribbon cable connecting it to the buttons has 9 pins and another one that has 6 that connects to the player to port. I was wondering if anybody had a pinout for this.

No it isn't those. Mine seems to be a different version or something. It has 2 of the gray ribbon cables.

Heres a clear shot of the insides

A bit blurry because I got a little too close up.

The second cable goes to the player 2 port and the first cable goes to the AV, power, and buttons. However, this is really messed up because I have around 15-ish wires in the cables. Please help me out here.

Looks like the wires are labeled on the back of the controller PCB

I actually had one of those, but fried it before I could get the controller hooked up correctly.

The only wires labelled are 5v, GRD, AUD and VID

The controller wires are up to you to figure out. I obviously did not get that far.

On the PCB I cant follow where all of the cables go because I loose it. The only real things that are labeled are the controller buttons and everything else is just left blank and has nothing labled at all. I'm gonna try to find out where all of the cables lead when I get back home.

sorry for the lack of format, I need some help on this one too. It's a newer revision, so we'll be seeing a lot of them I reckon.

VDD| 5V input (Cntrl White) | Audio | ? | ? | ? | Reset | Video | Ground (Ctlr Brown) |

I almost want to play around with figuring out where Data (Yellow), Clock (Red), and Latch (Orange) live. I figure I have a 1:6 Chance to get it right on the first try... I wouldn't mind blowing out the NOAC... it's the controller I'm worried about, lol.

Hopefully this gets us close though

For those who are wondering where P2 is... 1... who here has actually made a portable with p2... and 2... it's got it's own ribbon cable (the first ribbon) and thats an easy trace if you need it

A little experience here would be swell! Thanks!

ok i have a problem i have this same noac and i thought it was fried but i hooked it back up to the main controller board and hooked it up to a tv and i when i utrned it on i got all these random blotches of color every where and they were different when i turned on and off the built in games
could this have something to do with the removal of the cart slot?
and one other thing when the cart slot is away from you on the chip on the right there is a blob of solder to the left of the chip on the right
is that suppose to be there cause i think i desoldered it be accident once but im not sure any help??

romoval of the card edge slot shouldn't effect this, since none of them connect anyhow. However, a cross of solder might be important. Witht he amazing quality of these new boards

a tactic like that wouldn't suprize me.
