Dead NOAC

I have just got all the parts I need for my portable NES. When I turned on my Super Mega Joystick 3 it did not turn on. Thats when I crapped myself. I seems to be a power failure but the battery pack was not working either. I was wondering if anybody had ideas on how to fix it. My box is gone so I dont think that I can return in.

Double check everything. And if you want to be a bad person, get a new one and put the dead one in the box and return it.

Did you flip the switch inside the battery slot?

I dont really want to be a bad person, but I will if I have too. I flipped it around a couple of times but I dont know what it does. what exactly does it do?

its a switch that turns the built in games on/off
