dual booting is choosing your operating system after you turn on your computer, so you can have Windows for games and Linux for web surfing. You do have to restart to change OS's, however.

I could win any boot duel. Why? because its almost scary how fast Menuet can boot off a hardrive. Its like the desktop is displayed instantly after the bios splash image.

Ok so I'm exagerating a little, but it is very, very fast.

what is that you're editing goodie? I took a screenshot of my mac with the last decent film I edited up in FCP, but I don't have a place to host it.

does anyone here know how to make those little circles of icons, or those onscreen calendars, I still can't figure it out, I know that the little icon circles aren't just arranged, there is a little program, that lets you set which programs are in the circle, and I can't get an onscreen calendar for my life! I use red hat 9, here is my screen:

Image

Edit: by the way, my computers specs are uber-1337, I have:

p3 450mhz
nvidia riva tnt2 m64 32mb
c-media electronics pci 6 channel sound card, model 8738
578mb ram
56x cd-r
24x4x4 cd-rw, that stopped working for some reason, and I can't get it fixed!
Ancient speakers of doom, they are really small, and really loud!
17in viewsonic g773 graphics monitor, it is so 1337, it owns your monitors :D
a zip-100 drive,
and, believe it or not, A totally awesome super uber 1337 and cool...

...floppy drive! 1.44 mb at that!

Edit2: I almost forgot, I have a 40gb linux hdd, and a 20gb windows-xp-with-a-broken-install hdd, I don't dual boot, I dual drive! It's more technical, replace the drive when I want to boot into windows :D

I have this dorky little hobby right now.
I get my cruddy quality camera and me and my brothers go into the living room and act out a dumb little skit or something.
Then I add cheesy special effects to make it look like we can teleport or blow up or rip off people's heads, etc...
Someday when I get a good video camera I'll take a shot at making a real movie.

And www.imageshack.us is an ok place to host images, you don't even have to register or anything.
