Is it 7.2? Hmm... I guess is dosnt matter since batteries come in 1.2v increments (rechargable ones that is...)

Further question. Is this a common thing with electronics then, cos if so, it may be why my vacuum cleaner died as I think it must be something on the electronic level as there is nothing wrong with the actual fan?

My vacuum cleaner doesn't have any electronics... Just the on/off switch, the motor, and a light.

Mines like a carpet cleaner and other stuff in one unit so it's got a pcb of some description, but haven't got round to doing this yet, need to soon for my vacuum former like!
