General Wii Inquires (Not Related to Portables)

This is a thread started for those who need help with the Wii.

My question is this,

Can you play Wii Sports (The game that came bundled with the Wii) Online with other people?

Are any of the launch games internet ready?

Unfortunately, the first two USA internet-capable games are Battalion Wars and PokÃ©mon Revolution (I believe). I think they come out next year around... March.

I hope, I'm pretty sure it's gonna use the old Gamecube controller, thats what I heard at least.
