<img src="http://www.skytroniks.com/images/databa ... es/wtf.gif"> You cannot emulate the Xbox 360 on your PC.
Following the "rule of tens", you would need a computer 10 times more powerful than the 360 to get acceptable speeds.
The hard drive and DVD-ROM drive are just normal parts. There is nothing special about them. (Perhaps the interface, but there isn't anything different about the media.)
You're, as one of my instructors says, "screwed". Either save up for a 260 or buy the PC versions of games. (PLEASE don't say "but my PC can't run the games!!!!", because then it's even more impossible to run 360 software on it, if you can get more impossible than just "impossible".)
Besides, if you're as poor as you say you are, you probably couldn't afford the games for the darn thing in the first place.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO NO NO NO NO. You cannot emulate the Xbox 360 on a PC!!! That won't happen for a LOOOOOOOONG time!!! But I doubt you know what an emulator is, and you probably had something called, um, MAGIC in mind! Please, if you discover this magic, let me know. Otherwise, just STFU. If you're really THAT poor, then ISTBY, but I don't CARE! We'll likely never see you again anyway.
Lamest. Post. Ever.

92% of teens have moved on to rap.
If you are part of the 8% who still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your signature.

my first reply in ages...
even today we have issues emulating N64. All the tech info of the N64 is known down to the last bit register and IRQ. lets do some comparison... the N64 is 90Mhz, my desktop is 3000Mhz... N64 has MAX 8MB ram at 500Mhz, my desktop, 1024MB at 800Mhz. N64 graphics ??RAM at 65Mhz, my desktop, 256MB at at LEAST 400Mhz... So why am i having such a hard time emulating N64... cause its HARD! Thats why! Not only that, but not all the info about an X360 is known yet. So its just not possible at this time.
How about this... stop paying for your ISP bill and save the money for an Xbox 360, and save us frim such retarted posts. And do you think using an excessive amount of question marks makes your post more interesting? or should i say... INTERESTING???????????????????

And no, you can't emulate an XB360 on PC hardware, it'll be a long time (or never) until it is possible.
