Hey guys Im doing as persuasive speech on why I think hunting is ok to certain extent (That means excluding random animal killing) I will talk about how I think its ok to hunt as long as you are going to put what you kill to use. I will talk about how so many products includig asphault and paint have cow in them. Also I will talk about clothing made from materials from animals. Can anyone think of good apposing views? Im having a hard time not being one sided. Or even better if you can help me with why hunting is ok. Im not trying to spark argument I just want to be able to get a good grade and own up the one vegetarian in our class because he is the jerk type of vegetarian that makes fun of people for being normal. Thanks guys (or maybe the 1 girl out there)

Vegetarians.... For one thing, you should observe your vegetarian to see if he/she happens to be wearing any leather clothing or carrying a leather purse, and etc. Then rub it in his/her face.

Prey only need to know how to run. Indeed, most of the smarter mammals hunt, including many of the great apes, dolphins, and even rats. And, of course, humans survived early on by hunting. If we hadn't hunted other animals, we would not exist today.
As for the other side of the arguement; we no longer need to hunt wild animals, so why should we? In the end, just about all hunting is done as a sport, whether the hunter uses the animal or not. The tone used when someone states that they are going hunting is on the other end of the spectrum from the tone used by a farmer getting ready for a long, hard day on the field. Killing living things for pleasure is simply not acceptable.

You might also want to point out that even though people do hunt for sport, without it, we would be overrun with animals. I know the deer around here get pretty numerous, and without hunters to cut the number of deer down there would be a lot more car accidents because of deer, some possibly fatal. So hunting actually saves lives. 
Yeah here in Michigan they actually wanted hunters to go and hunt some deer a few years ago. Their numbers were getting to big for the area they lived it, and this was so the majority wouldn't starve. Beyond the need to thin out some species' numbers, there is the fact that there is a fur indestry.

Well just talk about the reason for hunting, population control. As G-Force said, without hunters we would be overrun by deer and other animals.
And if you do use the meat from the deer, you are saving money by not having to buy as much food from the store, so not only are you saving your town from being overrun by animals, you are saving money on food. Plus it's a good way to get exercise, and learn about the outdoors.
