Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Ummmm....then why would he put a StarFox (StarWing in Europe/Aussie) on the top screen? I'm pretty sure this is an SNES portable, in which case I agree with the majority; cool photoshop, but utterly useless dual screenedness.
Xiro wrote:yea no portable could really take advantage of 2 screens, let alone a touch screen.
but it is a nice mockup/photoshop job
He wouldn't have room for the controls if he put a second screen, jest take the second screen out and bondo/cover it or whatever, I, personally, think it's a pretty cool idea.

So you guys are suggesting that he's actually going to put a SNES inside of a DS Lite, or as someone else mentioned, a GBA? Think about it. The SNES barely fits inside a Game Gear, let alone any of these. You'd have to duplicate a larger version of the original case. Even frankening the hell outta these cases wouldn't deem them usable. Use your heads, guys.

well of course it would have to be scaled up, with two 5" sony screens how could it not be?

Clockwork JB wrote:1. The idea was originally just to make a DS lite that looks like a snes. The Starwing screenie is just there because it looks cool.
2. There is no way in hell that a SNES could fit in a DS, unless somebody magically pulls a SNOAC out of thin air.
So, basically, you mean... Just replace/paint buttons and whatknot? I may/may not do that to mine. I think it'd be sweet.

Yep, that's pretty much it. Paint the DS, pull apart a SNES controller and replace the buttons. You could even use the spare DS buttons to make a replacement SNES controller.
