Does your cousin have mental problems?

You could probably bake the circuit boards, but not the LCD, plastic, battery, stuff like that. And it should work. But I can't give you any directions. However it has been done. I like talking in fragments. :D lol
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...

I was just wondering the same thing. I think just leave it turned off overnight it will unfreeze.

The problem is some of the components could crack under very low temperatures. I'm not saying it's definitely broken, just don't be too surprised if it doesn't work.

I actually got my GBA soaking once. >_> I turned it on immediately, didn't work. Then, the next day, I turned it on, worked, but the a button had like, a 6 second delay. It slowly got quicker until it started working again. But I guess home-made portables aren't as tankish as Nintendo products.

If this portable use a lithium battery watch out, a short cut could be very bad. Good luck

nah im pretty lucky there wasn't a battery involved! I hear now he took a blowdryer to it. Thats probably what caused most of the moisture to really aprear all at once.

Maybe he thought you could preserve it by freezing it like those mamouths that they find completely intact, and I.m sure we all know Sonys don't last forever.

I would say don't turn it on for a week.

If he blow dryed it then it may be broken. Rapid energy gain leads to a huge increase in the kinetic energy of atoms.....it makes things crack.

Or do what your cousin would've done! Put it in the microwave. But seriously that sucks. I would just let it dry then clean it with alcohol let it dry and pray a lot that it stil works. Really there isn't much more too do.
