Anyways here are two of my concept drawings. I emailed them to doomportables, and you can now see them on the concepts page. Heres a little description:
Here are two case designs I made using EmachineShop. I tried to make them as small as possible, while still allowing for a comfortable grip, and a CD cover. In the first design the screen is on top of the CD cover, the pictures show it both with the cover up and down. The second design shows the front and back of the unit, with the CD cover on the bottom of the case, I did this to try to incorporate the CD's circular shape into the design of the case. I was also considering removing the handles on the sides of the CD cover to make the case smaller.

Any critism, ideas or suggestions would be great. thanks.

P.S. Thanks Spongebuell and Doomportables for hosting them.

So looks like there are two, one that uses the PSOne screen and one that uses a Handheld tv screen. Any plans to bring them to fruition?

Well actually they both use a pocket T.V. as thats what I have. As far as bringing them to life... I'm not sure. Currently I am still ironing out the actually internals. I have dissected my PlayStation(original) and used this circuit to get it running off of batteries. It works o.k. but the circuit gets extremely hot and only lasts for about 15 minutes. I think this is due to the fact that the regulators burn off the extra power, thus the 3v line is burning off quite a bit of the power when it steps down the 9.6 line. I had started this project in the summer(I think, can't remember) and haven't had much(any) time to work on it. I also have not started wiring the controller, and have left the T.V. in its case so far. I want to eventually perform the led mod, and mod the T.V. to run off the portables batteries. This should be really easy, but first I want to tackle the main power issue. Also I think I had some pictures of the Playstation Guts and the circuit, as well as it running. If someone wants to see them I think I could probably dig them up.

No problem, like I said in the email I had actually kind of forgot about this ,but I will probably give it another shot now that I have some more free time. It was pretty much perfect timing  .
