Well, I speak a little french! Not a lot, but it could be enough. And I'm sure that if you speak french here, we can just translate it.

-Super Cameraman

J'adore des jeux vidéo! (I hope I spelled that right!)
If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.

Unfortunatley, I don't speak french but I can say it in English.

There are a few things wrong with the diagram. First off, there is a large power consumption for the 3.3v line, and a smaller one for the 12v line. So you'll end up getting only about an hour of play due to the 3 AA's of only 1800mAh, while the 12v line is still running, which is useless.

The other thing, you can get lucky by being able to run the 3.3v line with from 3.1v to 3.4v, but 3 AA's can go up to 4.5v, and easy fry for the N64, so this is what I suggest:

Get one large 7.2v battery and use a 3.3v regulator, Part Number PTH08000 from TI (free sample).

Translated what Skyone said using Babel Fish, you know, just in case.

I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...

it will not "die", it will just not work for very long.

the 3v battery will not last as long as the 7.2v battery.

you should use one 7.2v battery and a 3.3v voltage regulator.
