would this be possible?

Post by Jerimoo »

I was on Yahoo image search and I pulled up something that looked cool:Image This would be an awesome concept for a Gamecube portable. It looks like it's about the size of a mini DVD player. It looks pretty awesome. My question is would you be able to make a gamecube portable that thin? It looks like it might be possible. On the screen the plastic sticks out farther than the screen, so it can close. And for the controller layout it's exactly the same as an actual controller. The eject system is that little switch on the side so it basically just pushes it out. If I were to make this I'd probably make it like a gamecube so the lid opens and everything.

Nope, already been discussed before and you can't make it that small and the controls would hit the disc and screen.

Hmm... thanks anyways. But if I make a GCP I might do the folding screen thing.

you could definitely make a portable based off of that, just not exactly like it. It would have to be much thicker, and have the bottom open up with the disc put in upside down.

I dunno if you get what i'm saying but turn the gamecube upside down, make it thinner, add a screen and controls is what i'm trying to communicate.

I still think i should do the wireless idea. Gamecube with batteries in backpack with wireless audio and video transmitter. Then the handheld with batteries, controller, reciever, and screen.

I'd make it look like that too and give it a fake DVD slot
