Because you get 1GB of FREE storage, as opposed to Yahoo or Hotmail where you only get maybe 10MB. For anyone who can't do math, that's 100 times the storage. THAT's why Gmail is good.

Except Yahoo and Hotmail raised their limits recently to compete with Gmail. Hotmail went from 2MB to 250MB and I think Yahoo did something similar.
Gmail's search function can't be beat though :)

Almost would be like 999.998mb as I doubt you can get the whole 1gb. The other plus about Gmail accounts is you can use it is as a remote server. TSS have an article about how to put all that space to good use.

Prohibited Actions

* Impersonate another person (via the use of an email address or otherwise) or otherwise misrepresent yourself or the source of any email
* Illegally transmit another's intellectual property or other proprietary information without such owner's or licensor's permission
* Use Gmail to violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others
* Promote or encourage illegal activity
* Interfere with other Gmail users' enjoyment of the Service
* Create multiple user accounts in connection with any violation of the Agreement or create user accounts by automated means or under false or fraudulent pretenses
* Sell, trade, resell or otherwise exploit for any unauthorized commercial purpose or transfer any Gmail account
* Modify, adapt, translate, or reverse engineer any portion of the Gmail Service
* Remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices contained in or on the Gmail Service
* Reformat or frame any portion of the web pages that are part of the Gmail Service
* Use the Gmail Service in connection with illegal peer-to-peer file sharing

I dont see invite any where on my gmail acount. Is it hidden or do i have to do something to activate it.

Hey, Ill give both you guys gmail accounts. Make sure to check the trash folder cause gmail invites usually end up in there. (Other companies want gmail to fail... Ha!) :twisted:
