What is the circuit to use a LM318 for an N64?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

I am currently making an N64 portable-ish thing, and am wondering how to wire up a battery. I know you need a battery around 7-9 volts, and a voltage regulator (LM318) for the 3.3v line, but how do you wire it?

LM318 is a OP-AMP, I think. LM317 is what you're looking for.

For the R1 box, punch in 390 (ohms) and you'll see you get 3.28v output. Throw a 390 ohm resistor in that circuit for R1 and you'll get 3.28v.

Tips:
-The capacitors are recommended but not needed
-Use a large heatsink, the LM317 will dissapate a TON of heat.

Use a TI dcdc unless you absolutely cannot get your hands on one. LM317's are less efficient.

Sorry for the bump, but for resistor one, I can't find 240, or a 390, can I just string some resistors together so it adds up to 240, and 390?

EDIT::: Can the PSone screen take only 6.98 volts? I found a configuration of resistors I have that gives that. Also, a 220(r2) and 360(r1) will give 3.3
I've passed Vertex^2 Expert :)

Uh, yes you can, but there's the same exact topic below this topic. Why did you bump this one?

I can send you some resistors of 390 and 240. I also have a LM317t, and the heatsink for it. I can wire it all up, and get the ground, input, and output wires correct, as well if I find the resistors, I can wire those. I'll do It for free.
