New NOAC with a 72pin connector!

Post by Gunnex »

Well, yeah. It already has a 72pin cart connector. It's called the 'Yobo FC Game Console USA Version' and works well. The're avalable in most import gamestores/ anime stores for $30-$40. No built in games, but I own one and pulled together some info. If you want to make a handheld/portable, remove the Front and back board from the central and use this central board diagram:

See? Simple. Once I buy a classic gameboy (I would have never thought of that as a case but it would definitely work) and an LCD I'll post a sample one. Thanx people for existing so I would get into this stuff!

Oh thanks! I busted my Super Joy III so I'll buy this next!

Oh wait... I don't have any NES games... Looks like I'm sticking with the Super Joy... :(

HA! How long have I been advocating the Yobo? Quite long. The only problem I see with it is that the main board is like 25% larger than those found in the Super Joy thingys. Yet it's great for those people (like me) who aren't comfortable desoldering the 60 pin cart connector and hooking up a 72 pinner.

Yep, I got my yobo around 1.5 years ago. Even had a few wholesales talks with them, but I don't have the credit to do that yet.

I have one too; I love it except that it doesn't seem to want to play Roadblasters, Maniac Mansion, or Werewolf. :(
