Another Screen Problem

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Another Screen Problem

Now the screen doesn't work at all. Nor am I getting any sould. I think I may have fryed the broad. Is there any way to test it and be sure?

If you have a multimeter, check for blown fuses and make sure it's getting power. Also, you may want to register so you gan edit posts and enjoy other features.

it is a PS One screen and looking at it I don't see fuses at all. The troubling thing is that it worked fine and Then oafter christmas I moved it from my parents house to my apt. at school and now It won't work. I hope this is not an indicator of the screen's durablitly as the whole point of the project is to have a portable N64. Has anybody ever had an issue with these screens?

Im pretty sure they are SMT fuses which mean there a pain to replace... Or at least solder... I'd show you a pic of the fuse... But Im not going to go open my psone screen, and I cant find a pic on google... Sorry.

If they are SMT , ur kinda screwed, or like we do on the GP32, solder reall short wires to the board where the resistors should contact and replace with leaded ones ( the ones with legs ) on the other wire end
