hi this is my nes
i have performed two mods on this baby one (obiusly) is the paint job (preserving the "Nintendo Entertainment system" logo was a pain in the ass and required some custom sticker job )
and the second is the lockout chip mod. witch i did when i opened it to clean it and insert a brand-new-ebay-obtained 72 pin conector

i've been thinking about installing blue led in it (but i really don't think it would look cool)

and yes i live in mexico where getting some games *cough*megaman 2*cough* can be a pain in the butt

but on another matter i am wondering. how much cash can i take out of these suckers? cause i have another three NESs that i will paint anyway and thought i could sell them.... about shipping, it would not be a factor since i live in tijuana (actually rosarito but that is around 10 minutres from tijuana) and i can mail the from the states.

collors can be picked and i don't know if i could put new 72 pins on them...

...on the other hand... mmm ....i could just paint them and sell them on ebay...

Very cool mod. the gold paint doesnt really suit my taste, but none the less its still a good paint job.

for the console alone...
with no games...
