Ok. here is my simple power wiring diagram...

It's not too great. I just wish I had my screen back.
EDIT: I didn't know it would turn out that small... Umm... Save it to your computer and then zoom in

Re: Secret Design revealed!
Nice design, but will the d-pad be usable, it looks like the joystick will get in the way?ShockSlayer wrote:Secret Design revealed! Go here: http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g166/ ... er/NEW.jpg

I actually like the D-pad placement, mostly becuse the thing is rarely used that it will probually never get in the way. I think you should make the thing taller and move all the buttons to a higher location (under middle of system, think gameboy) and/or make more room at he bottom of your system for space for your hand.

I took that big-ass battery apart. I couldn't have done anything smarter! its just a battery pack with a switch and a few wires. You won't believe this:
The switch wasn't just on/off, there was a 3rd area not added to the case. The switch was like this:
On/(forced Play n charge) Off/(forced Play n charge) and Off/Charge only!
The battery got really hot after a while when it was used, and play n charge was the only way it would charge. So once i opened it and found the third part of the switch, I was super happy!
It was a big battery on total, but once I took a saw to the metal casing, I founf that the battery wasnt even half of the size of the case. I'll put up Pics in a second.

Well, I have quite a bit of progress to share, I wired the battery to power everything, to where all I have to do is hook it up.
I got some acrylic(sp) from lowes for making the case. I need to go pickup some black krylon fusion paint from wal-mart. My superpad 64 came in, and I should be able to complete the cstick mod soon. Buy a controller from one of the links in this link: http://www.benheck.com/phpBB/viewtopic. ... highlight=
I've graphed some designs for how I'm going to place it all together. If I find a need, I will extend the controller, but I dont think anything needs to be done yet. I'll get the screen whenever wallydawg ships it. I have only a limited amount of time to finish this thing, because if I want to show it off at school, I need it to be done! I really need a 25 pin dual row scsi cable, and Oot, MM, and a n64. Please help me get this finished.
