Just get the #^$% over it!!!!
I mean seriously, the game is gone they aren't going to make any more, move on and find another game series to get obsessed about.
Gamers help other gamers in need. A group of Sonic fans helped out some mario fans, and now we've got Luigi's Mansion.

Umm, I have no clue what chrono trigger is about, who/what it is, nor have i played any of the games, but if you like i say GO FOR IT! SEND IN YOUR LETTERS!

I say, we all pull our recourses together and make an awesome RPG of our own for the BlackBox, one that we can govern the story in, and one that we can make all of the sequels that we want to. I could write the story, and do concept art (Because all of the blackbox people know that I am good at that.)

And we could all be characters in it, so we could say that we are in a video game. :D

I partially agree with dman76blahblah; the game was made, then released, then the company moved on. What is so catastrophically horrible about business as usual? Now, if CT was an MMO and it was CANCELED, and therefor you could never play it again, THEN you'd have something to complain about.

-they would make millions
-have lots of old fans come back
-increase their quality of games even more
Not necessarily; speak for yourself; and not necessarily.

-They would not be gaurunteed to make millions.
-You can only assume logically speaking that the majority of thier customers don't care either way.
-Making a Chrono remake or addition would not magically increase the quality of their games, nor their games' quality. A good IP doesn't make a good game- the developers do that.

They even make money off all those ports (Final Fantasy 1&2 dawn of souls, all the snes-to-playstation ports etc.) so I think they would definently make a huge ammount doing this.

This is Chrono Trigger we are talking about, a game that is widely regarded as being the best-ever RPG. If they publish games like Chocobo Racing they can definently publish CT. There are a lot of people who would
suprised by the release.

I meant the overall quality of their games. I think some of the new Square-enix games are not so good so a game like a Chrono Trigger remake might be good for them.

If you haven't played it (and that's not in teraflop122's direction) you should definently play it before giving comment.

If its any recompence there was a sequel on the PSX called Chrono Cross, but it didnt have any of the Crono Trigger charactors.

But i support them making a 3rd one, as long as you support a possible Shenmue III.

If you knew how to, you could make a movie of the 1st 2 games.

Chrono Cross is not nearly as good as CT and it is a PSone game, which is a console I do not like/have. The music is sweet though. But then again CT music is better, even if it is lower quality (the end of time music is heavenly, seriously).

Hey, I'd jump all over a DS or GBA re-release of Chrono Trigger! I just can't say that a majority of people share my enthusiasm. I'm definitely grabbing FFV and FFVI for GBA when they come out.

Are they? I only knew about FFIV. I'd really like FFIV but it is just so expensive compared to a DS game. Here FFIV costs precisely 45€ which is about 55$ (all games are more expensive here too :x ) and a DS game is only about 30-35€ which is about 40$! I also read that the European version doesn't have the bugs that the US version does, for once it's a good thing that all games arrive later in Europe

Yes, both FFV and FFVI are coming out on the GBA sometime late this year, or early next year.

id just say copulate it to square and make the damn game anyway. as long as you keep it strictly hush-hush and make no links to yourself you should be alright.

after a couple of days on torrent no one would be able to stop it from being distributed anyway.
