Old Carts

Post by deadite »

I have some old carts for GB, and the save battery is dead. Can I just get another battery of the same type, and switch it out? I mean, come on, what's Donkey Kong if you can't save your game and enjoy all of the glorious 2D platforming?

You need a gamebit to open GB carts. I believe it is 3.8mm, like the NES gamebit.

or you can dremel a small screw driver into a spacer bit. That's what I used for a few months untill I finally got a gamebit.
