Sony could have all of the chips in the world. But they still would need to work on the games first.

I thought that you said the PS2 recognized the thumb drive as a memory card when you poped it into the usb port?
As for making a game for that system, Sony made it easy with the linux kit. I wish thye still sold it here.

in case anyone didn't know i think jackfrost said his father works for IBM and IBM is collaboration w/ sony to make the Cell and they are making the XBOX Next and Gamecube 2 processors also.
In my view, none of the 128-bit consoles are good icon_razz.gif
IMO they are all good :P

When Nintendo stops making systems (unfortunatly not an "if" at this point), console gaming will be officially dead to me.

They should have realized that people are afraid of change, just look at the playstation, sony won't even give newer systems a different name for christ sake. Unless this new way of gaming is something so infinitely superior to using controllers that I can't even fathom it yet, this is going to be bad.

The first crash was a result of bad games..... well really bad games anyways. With most consoles locked I'd say the software crash if far form happening again. Though I would have to say that we could be looking at something bad happening with the next generation consoles as Nintedo, Sony and Microsoft are doing things that can cause the games to cost more than an arm and a leg, that and I doubt they'll sell a lot if they are not backwards compatable.
