L and R

Post by deadite »

I'm going to, with the help of my physics teacher, who happens to be an electrical engineer who only teaches as a hobby (he invented the machine that goes down the bowling lane and cleans and waxes it), put a GBA into the case of a regular GB (yes, I know, it's been done before). But I want to know where people think I should put the L and R buttons.

Here are my two ideas:

If anyone has other ideas, please, tell me.

Well where you put those boxes sound fine. If your really conserned about where to put them, the simple way is where is it most comfertable? And good luck on your mod.

Thanks.

Also, does anyone know where I can get a relatively cheap Afterburner backlight for GBA? And does anyone have one and know how big it is? I'd like to add one, but if it doesn't fit, it doesn't fit.

Also, it'd be pretty hard to put a gba in a gb case. A gba sp would go in pretty easy, but with the gba you'd have to resolder the entire screen.

I need to go to sleep now, so I'll suggest one thing: talk to cennar about this mod, he's done it before
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Afterburners are not being produced anymore. Buy an SP, it uses similar technology.

the only thing you may need to work out (with i did in GBOM2) is resest screen. and how your going to cut the hole for it.i dont recomend removing the SP screen from the plastic covering protecter thingy, insead cut as much of the gbo screen protecter as you can so you can see and so it wont look so deep in there.

also with and sp would be a ton better you can chose where you wanto put the cartrage slot much easyer with a lot less bored to work with.

this would be hard but you could put the L and L buttons above a and b to make it sort of look like a nds set of buttons
