What is the maximum speed that the Dreamcast can overclocked to without glitches, crashes etc? If it's only 240MHz, it doesn't seem like it would be worth the effort. Hopefully someone can get it past 300MHz with proper cooling, that would be cool.

If you look in this forum I made a thread about such a subject, the author of the guide I posted had over clocked his to the point it needed a more powerful fan. Going to 300+mH I think would cause it to crash as the hardware might not work or communicat properly. 240mH might not sound like its really that much of an improvement, but a 20% increase is quiet good, I wouldnt argue too much especally after the video Robivy64 posted.

It isnt any kind of game, it is a hardware demonstration disc. Its the best way to flex the DC's muscles

As for higher speeds here is what I tried:

280 MHz = no boot
300 MHz = no boot
354 MHz = no boot

Just to bring this back up to the top, I can get DreamCast bodies for about $10. Plus shipping. If you want to wait until July, I can ship it to you from Indiana. They are Japanese models and such. I could get you a broken one for cheaper probably. The store here in Chiba is begging me to get rid of them (and a few other things). They have a good 100 Dreamcast bodies, about 20 Dreamcast sets (controllers and cords included), and a slew of broken ones that they may throw away (if so, who wants to pay shipping, I will take them all).
So yeah, something to think about here. Also, was there ever a DC dacing game released in America? Like DDR?
Just wondering.
Also, I want to OC the one here and such, so thanks for that. Depending on how much power the DC takes, I may make it portable. Part of my portable variable system (same screen and batteries for every portable just slide them in and click).

I would probibly take a Dreamcast console and a few 3rd party controllers. I bold 3rd as they are much better than the ones Sega released.

I can get it to you if you really want it and stuff. The DC is about $10 and a controller is about $5-8. Working or non-working DC/ controller (please specify for both).
