RGB on SNES

Post by goodie »

I tried connecting the snes's rgb to my psone screen, but I only got sound, no video. The screen works with composite, and the snes is an original, not the mini snes.

On DoomPortables, it says you need to connect some 200uf capacitors to the rgb lines to use rgb on the snes. Are these needed to get a picture from the snes, or are they just to clean up the signal?

those are just for cleaning up the picture. I think that Y in on the psone screen is composite sync too.

Ok, thanks for the pinout. I was trying to use the gamesx's playstation pinout to figure out the psone screen's pinout, but I must have been off. I'll try this one out and see if it works.
