just got back from Midwest gaming classic

Post by ganonbanned »

it was awesome :D . i got to see ben speak, and i taped it. video later. there was a room that had oddysee 2, atari 2600, and every system after NES (including portables) that you could play for free. an arcade where everything was free. and a buttload of games from different vendors.

what i got:

-atari homebrew lord of the rings: the fellowship of the rings brand new with instructions for $14

-a sega dreamcast with cords and a controller for $32

-a sega dreamcast VMU (that supposably needed a new battery but didnt) $1

-a dreamcast keyboard w/box $2

and finally

the atari swordquest series (if you didnt know, there were three swordquest games made. water world, fire world and earth world. fire world and earth world are somewhat rare, but water world is one of the rarest atari 2600 games) $7

i seen ben speak, got it on tape (my battery was running out so when people started asking questions at the end, i turned it off but i turned it on when i got to go up and look at his portables)

i will post the vid later if ben lets me

Very cool, I think for the seeing Ben speak part you should've ripped off those mastercard commericals and said : Priceless. Quickly edit.

You got quite the Dreamcast deals there I gotta say, I may see what I can do for next years, maybe I will show up...

Upload it to Google Video! :D

YouTube sucks; they won't let you download the videos (though you can with Firefox, GraseMonkey, and some scripts )
