I've got a LM317T Positive Adjustable Joltage Regulator that I need to take 7.2v to 6v with, how do I do that?

two resistors. there is an equation to calcualte their value in the datasheet

where did you het that regulator from I need one to do the same thing

You can buy them here http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/produc ... cts_id=527 (shipping might make it pretty expensive)

I haven't checked it out, but you may be able to sample them for free from Texas Instruments (check out http://ladyada.net/resources/procurement.html for more info on that)
