how would i go about checking how many mAH my nintendo is getting from the dc - dc converter, i think that might be my problem.
I custom made one from parts at radioshak, and it would come on for a few seconds then go off.
Now i have a car charger (sort of like RPGTKnick did at this link http://stadsport.revhost.net/n64m.html ) that lets me select the voltage output, but i think its not giving me enough mAH, or its giving it too many mAH
