PS2p question

Post by Vladakabrent »

So, I got an image on my PS2p screen and I noticed that there is some Horizontal lines on the screen. Do I need some 220 uf cap in the RGB Lines to prevent it?
Also, when I select Y Cb/Pb cr/Pr in the Menu I get the Green tint and the solutions in the sticky don't really help. I tried both the +5V and connecting all the lines. Any help appreciated greatly.

no an inductor should fix that problem plce it rght after the positive lead of the battery

About 40mH ought to be enough

what is happening is the battery needs its voltage cleaned up, the inductor does that (can't remember the exact physics but deals with magnetic fields and electric fields and current and a few other things)

Alright I figure you guys are sick of hearing from me but I got a problem. When I press the power button, the light turns green for 1/2 a sec, then goes back to Red (Standby) Could it be a blown fuse? I would check now but I'm tired now and will check tomorrow. Just wanted y'all's thought on it first. Thanks

Sorry to sound needy but could it be a broken fuse? I pressed restart a bunch of times, and now it won't boot at all. I heard if you did press it a lot then it wouldn't boot up at all. I've checked google got nothing, so don't ask me that. And help appreciated greatly.

I'm just gonna give up on this mobo and try a different one. I haven't repaired it and don't know if it's possible, bu I don't mind grabbing a new PS2 Mobo.
Anyway, I bought a V14 PS2. They don't sell those anywhere (Correct me if I'm wrong) So can I buy like a different slimline PS2 Mobo instead? Thanks a lot
