The only other person besides me who would care about this is probably SgtPepper, but I read in The Week that Apple (Mac) won against Apple (The Beatles) in a lawsuit concerning the similarity of their logos.
Yeah, damn Apple.
Oh I heard, but unfortunately (for you), I'm on Apple Computer's side, so for once I'm not rooting for everything Beatles. :P

I just hope that the Beatles will eventually get on iTunes, because with music, comes videos, and I would buy all those hard to find music videos that aren't in the Anthology! I think you'll agree with that, even if you do support Apple Records!

The lawsuit wasnt about the logos. It was because Apple Comp was only allowed to be called Apple if they agreed to not make music. Apple Music sued over the iPod and iTunes, but since Apple Comp didnt make music, it was ok.

This has been going on, at least as far as I know, since the early 90's, when computer Apple started making their computers record sound, while they had agreed with music Apple that they wouldn't go multimedia.

And now for something a bit different.

OS X. And I know you are going to do what you can to argue about it, but to make a single insult or anything, you need to use it for a few days. Once you do that, you'll know exactly why people spend extra money on Apple. It's like buying a BMW, even when there is always the option of a Geo.

OS X is a shell of linux, why am I paying ~$500 extra for a re-vamp of linux?
OS X is a shell of linux? Wrong!

Its a revamped version of NeXTStep (by NeXT, a steve jobs company), with UNIX (not linux) compatibility.

Ever heard of boot camp Nich?

Yay, new Macintoshes! :D It makes me happy. I probably would have sold my 2 year old iBook to my brother and gotten one (once they have a few refurbished to save $) but I absolutely hate glossy screens. Why did you have to make it a glossy screen apple?!

Glossly doesn't always mean mirror-like:

@sgtpepper:
Meh, I don't care about iTunes, I can't buy things on the interweb.
You weren't rooting for the Beatles? Looks like you self-admitted defeat in the which-one-of-us-is-a-bigger-fan-type-thing type thing. :?
This is a day of victory for Raymond Michael Romanczuk Jr., officially the biggest Beatles fan ever to grace the Benheck forums!

I was sort of rooting for them... Just indirectly, I wanted them on the music store, and on top of that, it's not like their lawsuit was that strong in the first place...

I object! Nobody is a bigger Beatles fan then I!

You're but a collector banking on future resale!

As for you, I shall turn your collection into pancakes, steal the pancakes, then change it back to even RARER beatles collectables!

Which is why I'm using it right now and can barely hear it. There have been times in the summer when the room got hot and it started to overheat so the fans kicked on higher and it became loud, but if you were using a G5 and it was noisy then there was something wrong with it.
