a $150 Wii would be nice, but lets look at the history.
Nintendo Entertainment System - $200
Super Nintendo - $200
Nintendo 64 - $200
Gamecube - $200

I'm gonna guess we'll see the Wii debut at $200

I'd really like to see the Wii come packaged with Wii Sports, it really would make sense, it seems like the entire purpose of that game is to be a primer to the new controller. Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to come with it.

I say <300 because that sensory technology couldn't be cheap.

Go 'way. The Wii has been announced to be at the most $250.

This comment is kind of stupid, 250 IS less than 300 isn't it..?

Gyration mouses are like $75, but the overinflation is huge. The controller will cost less that $30 to manufature, I'm willing to bet.

EDIT: >300 means more than 300. Its ok.

You gotta remember though $200 in 1988 was a lot more than $200 now, so $250 is still a reasonable proce

Here'san article on that. Apparently not only will it not have HDMI support, but it won't allow wireless controllers, WiFi, or memory card slot. I'm still skeptical about that article though, since it highlights at the end that Phil Harrison stated that the consoles wouldn't have different functionality. So if this article is true, these differences really seem like quite a turnoff for potential buyers of the cheaper console. Don't take this as 100% fact though...the internet has been known to lie
