Yet another DS Lite thread! I'm not gonna buy one until they become retro, for collection purposes. I already have a DS Dark!

it's smaller, lighter, and has a much better and brighter screen.

and it looks way better....but yes, ultimately, not very worth it for those already with a DS, though if I had the money, I'd probably get one.

I don't own an original DS so it's all gravy for me anyways. I was hoping for the Navy Blue color at launch though.

Nintendo should have some kind of upgrade service; I wouldn't mind paying even $50 to trade in my DS Fat.

The point of getting a DS Lite is 'cause it looks cooler, is lighter, is brighter, is smaller, has a longer stylus, has 2 stylus slots, makes you look like the coolest kid on the block, and gets people a new warranty if it expired. I'm getting one as soon as it hits the shelves (I can't afford the premium right now, although it would be killer to have it before anyone else) and I already own a DS. I got one of the first wave, original firmware DSes.

I might be buying a DS when DS Lite comes out over here, because that'll make DS's cheaper
