Don't worry about scars. My mom had this with her leg. Staples in them too. Almost nothing of a scar (of course the pin still has to go out eventually) since they got the pins in.

A contusion that big will definetly leave some sort of scar. Depending on how well the staples were applied the size could very from noticable to almost invisible. Its on a joint which has quite a lot of muscle activity below the dermal layer so not using your arm much, as I imagine you obviously won't lol, will possibly decrease the size of the final scar.

I think it'd be pretty cool to have a big ole' scar on your shoulder.

lol yea, i could make up some totally outrageous story to "impress the babes" lol ("yea i got this scar in a knife fight with 12 angry drunk bikers, i killed 11 of them and the 12th died out of sheer terror after he cut me!") :lol:

No, Triton just didn't bleed any blood.

its supposed to be in a sling, sling dont help a whole lot so i dont wear it 24/7 and i have limited use of the arm casue its stil healing
