I told you! $400!
It's been announced, I hear, in PSM that the PS3 will be $400.
Now listen for moans and groans of disbelief from the leagues of people who thought a company would actually release an $800-$1200 gaming system.
Watch the 360 drop to $300 by September.

FINALLY someone realizes that Sony is not that stupid. Thanks, Ben. It doesn't matter, though, because Wii will rock you (no pun intended) Now only if Nintendo had full Square Enix support...benheckc wrote:It's been announced, I hear, in PSM that the PS3 will be $400.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Oh yeah, Square Enix cited in recent news that they had several new "ideas" for new games to be displayed at E3, many of which had nothing to do with Final Fantasy. During the speech, SE mentioned that they were going to take advantage of the success of some "older" games. Is the infamous CHRONO BREAK finally a reality? Will Square get Quintet off their lazy asses and produce a Terranimga remake (probably not). Stay tuned, folks!

Speaking of E3, is anyone planning on going?CronoTriggerfan wrote:

You can't go unless you are a licensed developer. Although you can set up an independent firm for a business at 14 here in Michigan, so I may just register myself as a game maker for PCs (C++ programmerlimpport wrote:Speaking of E3, is anyone planning on going?CronoTriggerfan wrote:

Well that's good news for Sony fans. Of course, if it is the minimum, then it still could be higher than 400. Sorry to sound like a cynic, but I still feel it will be somewhat higher than this. I mean, look at all the hardware specs! Still, if the final price is 400, you can pretty much guarantee that Sony will once again reign supreme.
