i like the GB pocket because it was just a whole lot smaller than the GBO and even though the screen was still crap i think it was a little better than the GBO, i also just have some good memories of playin good ol' pokemon blue version on the pocket.

Game Boy Original. Man, I logged thousands of hours on that thing. It was the beginning of my videogaming, and will always have a special place in my heart.

Gameboy Light, for it's time of course... a Gameboy Pocket with a backlight...

Unfortunatley, I can't vote. Every Gameboy (except GBA) is good.

Ok, I'll admit I haven't played them all. In fact, I haven't even played the one I voted for. But the fact is, this is the most universal of them all. It will play the original gameboy games, as well as the GBA ones. Only this, the SP, and the GBA original do that. Aside from the screen, the SP+ (my new shot nickname) is the same as the SP. since SP+ screen > SP screen, SP+ wins (GBA original is obvious, since it doesn't have any lighting and is hard to see)

Bottom line: compact system, with a big, beautiful, backlit screen... it's hard to go wrong there :)

GBA, 100% compatibility with all gb games (to my knowledge), and not too small.
I'd actually like it if it was bigger though :P

Very true...the SP BS (as I call it) is the finer game boy, in tehc. But give me a GBL anyday...you could do the dark GBCam pics AND see your pics AND not have the image upside down...

Japan only. I voted GBA SP, because that's the only gameboy I've ever owned, even though I've been alive for every single one released.

unfortunatly, not all games are 100% :( around 10 games had sound issues, most notably Kirby tilt'n'tumble.

The best Gameboy was bar none, the GBA SP NES. You can not beat retro look, specifily when you're playing an NES port, Zelda, or Medtoid games. You all know I'm right!

I like the GBA Micro Famicom's retro look, myself. That said, I have an original GBA, in black. Since I'm most likely using my Game Gear for a pocket NES (Those pockets have to be HUGE!) I'm going to try a custom Afterburner mod with the Game Gear backlight on it. Mixing Sega and Nintendo hardware is blasphemy, you say? Its Revolution time.

Game Boy Light. If I'd known mine would only get $50 on ebay, I would have kept it. I had seen others go for $200-$300 so whoever got mine got a great deal.

Game Boy Color. Great games, better screen then the GBO, and a nice stylish casing too! :P
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...
