theres an interesting book i read called "the footprints of god" or something like that. Instead programming AI, they just upload a human being into a really powerful supercomputer. unfortuantely, it was connected to the internet and it holds the world hostage until they can convince it it dosent exist or something like that

it was a good book.

A human's genetic information could only be held on a computer the size of a small city. Our brains might not be as fast, but when it comes to capacity we beat supercomputers several times over.

Yeah but they're talking about our conciousness. There's still all the other space for memories, sight. etc.
I've had a hard time remembering things lately. Maybe I should get my brain defragmented.

But you can't rewrite dear braincells. You're taking a cold, foamy magnet to your only harddrive.

that's the reason I didn't drink half a year cause it's not funny I heard wild storys about what I do then but sometimes I don't even know somethings missing and then I'm told I've been dancing on the bar singing "I'ts raining man" that's really embarrasing

Sorry but the human Gnome is mapped and stored in a computer ;) You mean to get the amount of storage that our brains have? We have 2 Trillion raincells approximately. If you think of each one as a bit I cannot believe we dont run out!

According to that we only have 220'ish GB of brain space :P I guess im wrong and our brain doesnt work like a binary thing anyway. We have plenty of space.

Brain cells must be able to do a lot at once, think about it. They process vision at at least 15 fps, feelings from all over the body at who knows how many times a second, smell, balance, sound, taste, and many more dealing with internal regulation. No wimpy computer could handle that task.

Thats allright I suppose, Would people than with a larger brain mass have a higher number of braincells resulting in higher space value?
Meh... So I don't post much?
