Another cartridge slot topic (Please I really need help)
I have relocated my cartridge slot and at first it was working fine but now i tried to test by connecting it to a psone wall jack with the dcdc converter. I didn't see any video so I hooked it back onto the original adapter. The power turns on but the video is mostly black and white and its very hard to see. Any suggestions?
EDIT: the video is always scrolling and is very messed up. And also when i hooked it up to the psone jack theres no video at all

if you want help, youre going to have to go into more detail, possibly with better grammar... i read your original post twice and i just dont get whats happening.
- what was hooked up to what originially
- what did you change
- exactly what did you observe before/after
- how is it set up now
things like that. detail my friend.

Sorry about that I guess I didn't go into enough detail.
-it was originally hooked up to the n64 adapter
-I made it so that it would run off a psone wall jack and a dc-dc converter (the one on the free dc dc converters thread).
-when it was running off the n64 adapter it was fine but when i hooked it to the psone wall jack and dc-dc converter, the power led went on but no video whatsoever.
-currently it is connected to the psone wall jack and dc-dc converter.
(pictures will be coming soon)

umm. it could just be the angle, but it looks like your dc-dc is wired up totally wrong. ... could you give us another angle, or, even better, a paint drawing of how its all wired
(ive been staring at it some more, and its starting to make more sense... maybe its not wrong)

currently I am running only the n64 off the psone adapter. So it is tested on the TV. The reason I didn't connect it to the psone screen yet was because I wanted to make sure it would work before I hooked it up to a screen.timmeh87 wrote:also, are you trying to run the system AND the screen off the psone adapteR?

Well I used Skyone's diagram on his website except there isn't a diode or an inductor.timmeh87 wrote:umm. it could just be the angle, but it looks like your dc-dc is wired up totally wrong. ... could you give us another angle, or, even better, a paint drawing of how its all wired
