N64 wont go on :(

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

My n64 was out of its case and i dropped it, the power brick and video cable were in, and now the red ligt doesnt go on, what is wrong with it?

oh, i know EXACTLY whats wrong with it.

haha. no, its actaully impossible for any of us to tell. you also sound kind of demanding there. did you break any solder joints and the power or video connectors? pick up somem metal off the floor? crack one of your chips?

when i drop mine, it doesn't imediatly start working again but does if you wait a few days. also check to see if anything's damaged

yeah, i was pretty pissed then, becausse i was about to wire it up to the screen, and i just dropped it.

nothing is damaged, as far as i can tell.

i will wait until tommorrow

I dropped my 1997 board, it still worked fine right after. Of course, I dropped it on carpet and it was inside an antistatic bag. :P
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...

*ahem* I would like to know why my XBox doesn't work. I dunno what happened, it just stopped working! :( If it weren't for the fact that this was a mockery joke thingy, the reason would most likely be production by Microsoft
Anyways, a connection might have come out, but like timmeh said, sometimes things don't work, then you go back, and it for some reason works again!

I have broken about 13 n64's over the years, some got broken before they ever left their case, god rest their souls...


dont fret, give it time, blow it off, ensure connections, make sure the contacts are clean?
