Yes, I frequently look at project guitar, but I wanted to ask if anyone here knows of any alternatives. I googled, and project guitar and StewMac came up. I'm thinking about just doing a solid color (black) and adding a pearloid binding. More info:

Necks:
1) Warmoth Pro 8-string neck
2) Warmoth Deluxe 5 neck
3) Any cheap Fender neck

you either must have a lot of money to do nothing with, or you want to build a bass that will have the worst tone.

but if you're making it to sell, then you got yourself a pocket full of money and some kid has a bass with terrible tone.

Not terrible, the more wood, the better. More sustain, better tone.
