I saw this on one of ben's portables, it was a little meter that showed you how much battery was left, how could i do this?

take one from something else that has a battery level meter. I'm sure there is also somewhere you could just buy one. All you have to do is wire it to your battery.

the battery meter on ben's PS2p is just there because it came with the battery. if you can find a battery with one you shouldn't have any problem figuring it out

It won't be that useful when the portable is turned on though, since the meter will have to test across the battery terminals, and since the portable is already connecting them (albeit in a long path), the readings will be off. I know that when you plug a PSone screen into the adapter, it reads 1.3v instead of the usual 7.6v or so. If you get an "intelligent" battery, it can give accurate readings while on, but your average Ni-MH AAs aren't gonna cut it.
