Sorry I'm entering this late. I've taken a few classes on embedded systems hardware and software. I don't have a Genesis to play with at the dorms, but I might be able to help you guys next week. Does anyone have high-res pictures of the Radica board?

I'd put some up but I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow. =/ You'll want some high res shots with the trcaes revealed (they're covered up by that white stuff).

Sorry if I made it sound like I was informing Ben on some amazing breakthrough in prototyping- I'm pretty sure everyone and their mothers are aware of breadboard. He mentioned having to solder things, so I was just pointing out the obvious solderless alternative.

...but who can deny the power of breadboard?

I just got a radica Megadrive Controller down at Kmart here in australia so i'll have a good look at it as i have 4 weeks off now but i must wait till xmas to check the radica out

I talked to Kevin Horton just a bit ago about this and he suggested dumping the onboard games to see if they're being emulated or not. I think that's a good idea, but I'll leave that up to someone else

I love anime and i really like how its different and has indepth characters and plots.

I do watch some of the kids shows now and then if i see them on like Zim etc.

I really like the old japanese monster movies like gamera and all them there great movies and there very funny icon_smile.gif

I do watch a lot of a movies from other countrys like asia and italy french german russian etc as we have a tv channel called SBS and it plays movies from around the world icon_razz.gif

Ummmm i really like the japanese culture and im going to go to japan soon in my life to lay under a cherry blossom with a cute japanese girl icon_razz.gif well lets hope so icon_wink.gif hehe

Hmmm. Well, see, the problem with dumping it is that we don't know the pinout. And if we knew the pinout, we'd probably know if it was being emulated or not because we'd know if it was feasible for it to be a Genesis ROM in the first place. So... while that is a sound idea, it doesn't actually help at all at this point.
