Oh man, I'm sorry to hear gamelver. That must have been a scary experience...I'm glad you and your house is ok. But don't you have your original GCp (the first one you made) or did you sell it? Well, I hope your next portable turns out great

I used parts from my first GCp to quicken the build time on my second one ....and now, I can't even use any parts from this one to build my next one!

oh man! Actual FIRE Thats the worst. Glad to hear you didn't get hurt though! Man.. What if you had been holding it when it set off... Scary.

I know how it feels to lose a portable you spent to much time and work on, since I had my NESp lost/stolen. It, uh, sucks. To say the least. And a GCp is even harder and more expensive to make.

I hope you still want to make another. (And this time make it black? )

well, one is completely burnt to a crisp....my zelda saves were on there, too .

the other one, the one sticking out in the picture (the zelda one blends in ) is pretty burnt, but it MIGHT still work....if not, then perhaps the ram chip is intact, at least...

oh, and I do have a black GCp, oh candy man G-force!

it's just...uh....not working right now....I don't know why . It looks fine!





here's what happened (if any care to know )...I was watching seinfeld, playing some Advance Wars: Dual Strike, when all of a sudden, I hear a kind of hissing noise for a second, and then BOOM!....huge explosion and the GCp still is on fire...I figured the li-poly batteries exploded so I go there and it's still on fire, but only a little.....nothing too bad, so I figure I'll just take out the batteries and perhaps only a few parts got screwed up in the explosion. after a while, the GCp explodes again, though not as big, and I know it's wrecked....the room is starting to get filled with smoke and the fire alarm soon goes off. I take my bedsheet, grab the flaming GCp, and hurl it out my window onto the roof. I then proceed to get some water and douse the GCp, knowing once and for all it's dead. as I'm standing outside, I realize what just happened, and though I was relatively calm throughout all that, I all of a sudden got really angry and disoriented, though that might've been the smoke.....man, what a night .
