on Multi disc games
Disc 1 allways Gets scratched up BEFORE 2, 3, or 4. Why is this. I have A copy of Final Fantasy VII, the disc one will NOT play couse its so scratched up, but discs 2 and 3 are pristine. It was the same for my first copy of Shenmue, Disc one was messed up, but 2 and 3 perfect. Why does this happen.
Well in this case you play Disc one, then when you finaly move on to disk two you just take disk one and either throw it somewhere random or put it back in the box... with me usualy number one.
Proberbly because you use disk one the most as it's needed to boot up the game?
I've often found if people spend less time worrying about what someone the other side of the world has posted on an internet forum and more time getting laid, they'll be a lot less tense.
This may work to fix your disk (at least temporarily)
Get yourself some liquid car wax, put a small amount on the disk and rub it around till the whole side of the disk is coated, then gently buff it till it shines.
make sure you use cloth for this, as a paper towel will most likely cause more harm than good.
