My newest portable - have to show it off

Post by scherubino »

Here's my newest NES portable. I call it the cherrybomb. I use Ben's graphics but just made it circular and used a noac. Not done yet, but had to show off what I've done so far.

That is niceeee... The A and B buttons look a little strangely-placed. Is it more comfortable to play? Anyways, nice portable.

thanks for the compliments guys. I'll post a few pics when I get it fully done. then I'll be putting it up on ebay. I don't play much. I like building them more. I plan on making a few more of these if i can make a few bucks on them.

I'll probably start it around $150. I think I can get that much for it. I recently sold a similar one for about $160 so I'm shooting for that or more for this one.

That's absolutely amazing. Did you use a real NES board or a NoaC?

paul,
you're right - good memory. That was the CB-1 (basically Ben's design exactly). This one is the CB-2.

If I could supply thee with a few of the needed components like the screen, NES controller, and NOAC, would you make me one for a discounted price? Or maybe just seel me the case....

Edit:Where in Philly do you live? I'm right across the bridge :D !
Edit 2:Does that have a cart-slot? I'm assuming it does but I'd like to make sure...

So you're the guy that was selling the cherry-bomb themed NES portable on eBay. That one was nice too!
