Buying plastic sheet...

Post by radioactivelego »

I am probably going to make a wooden cast for my case and vacuum mold it. It seems easy as hell considering I have a woodshop class with a closet full of spare wood. Just stick plastic in an oven for 90 seconds at 350 and wrap it around a wooden mold twice.

But uh... where do I buy plastic sheets?

Alright, I tried searching on ebay a bit and found a few things that might be what I'm looking for

Haircell textured ABS - this is the kind of rough plastic you feel on your PS2, correct?

If so, I could definitely go for a few pieces of this stuff. :)

I have a link on my site to a great plastics supplier under vacuum forming. I would post it here but I forgot the exact url
